ACHIEVA Home Care provides in-home and community caregivers to support people of any age with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Caregiver supports can be provided for a few hours a month, daily, weekly or on a 24 hour basis dependent on an individual's needs. Over a typical year, ACHIEVA Home Care provides more than 250,000 hours to individuals who live independently or at home with their families. Our goal is to build independence as well as ensure health and safety. Our mission is simple, to celebrate abilities and exceed expectations while we ensure that people with disabilities fully participate in their communities. In Westmoreland County, home care services are provided through The Arc of Westmoreland, part of the ACHIEVA family of organizations.
ACHIEVA Home Care is licensed by the Department of Health and is a member of the Pennsylvania Homecare Association. ACHIEVA Home Care is also regulated and monitored by Pennsylvania's Department of Public Welfare's Office of Developmental Programs and Allegheny County's Department of Human Services.
