Meet Achieva Family Trust's Charitable Residual Team

Jenn Stoyer and her two kids smile for a selfie in front of their christmas treeMy name is  Jenn Stoyer, and I am the Community and Charitable Trust Coordinator with Achieva Family Trust. For over 20 years I have been employed with Achieva. Over the course of my employment, I have held several positions in three different departments including, Direct Care, Vocational Supports and now the Coordinator for the Charitable Residual Program.

Helping others has always been a passion of mine. I strive to achieve the mission and vision of Achieva in my everyday life, and share it with as many people as I can.

When I am not working, I am a busy mom to my two kids, Madilynn (14) and Jackson (11). They keep me busy. Between sporting events, trips, and spending time with family, we are always on the go. We just do not know how to relax! It is always fun to see their excitement in every experience and just hope that these are memories that will last a lifetime. They are by far my greatest accomplishment, and I am so honored to be their mom.

I have been with Achieva for 21 years - 19 years as a Residential Advisor, and 2 years with the Trust. I take pride in my job knowing that I am helping families that lack the resources to access critical special needs support.

Growing up with a brother who has autism has helped me understand the challenges people with disabilities face, and gave me an understanding of the support that is needed in the disability community.

I have two children, Tanniel and Dustin, and a granddaughter Ariyah. I got married in Virginia Beach a year and a half ago to my amazing wife, who I met at Achieva 15 years ago. My favorite thing in life is traveling with her to different places and creating new memories. We really hope to visit Japan someday.

In my down time, I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, watching  90 Day Fiancé, Judge Judy and reading. I especially enjoy  watching Steelers football and spending time with my puppies. I had two dogs but my best friend Chevy crossed the rainbow bridge in November, and now I just have my beautiful girl Bella.
