Empowering Student Leadership: What Is A Student Led IEP Meeting?

Why should an IEP become a Student-Led IEP?  Because the Student-Led IEP process benefits us all!  This session will introduce participants to the advantages of SLIEPs and also provide advice on how to get started with the SLIEP process.

  • SLIEPs are beneficial to students, families, schools, and, indeed, the world!
  • SLIEPs are a vital part of student self-advocacy.
  • SLIEPs look different for every student but are always possible.
  • Student preparation is a vital part of student-led IEPs.
