During Direct Support Professional Recognition Week (September 12-18, 2021), Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) providers across the nation are given the opportunity to acknowledge and highlight the direct support workforce.
Achieva is fortunate for the many DSP's who make working, living, and having fun in the community a reality for people with disabilities. They help the most vulnerable among us with both simple and complex issues, like navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. Their duties support each person's needs for personal care, transportation, medication management, leisure, and so much more.
Thank you to each DSP at Achieva and beyond who commits to making a difference. Through the support of DSPs, more and more people with IDD are leading lives of personal significance.
