On October 25, Achieva accepted the Community Champion Award by UPMC Senior Services and UPMC Western Behavorial Health. The award is given annually to an organization that has shown exceptional organizational leadership to create better communities around the region.
With gratitude, pride, and a renewed committed to Achieva’s mission, vision, and core values, President and CEO Steve Suroviec accepted the award on behalf of Achieva’s affiliates, trustees, employees, and the people supported by Achieva.
A video highlighting Achieva was shared at the event. In addition to Steve, Maura Kegg, who receives support from Achieva was interviewed along with her parents, Bill and Korene. Long-time advocate Regina Sciullo was also featured in the video.
