PITTSBURGH, PA - A generous donor, Ronald Chiurazzi, offered to match every dollar for dollar up to a total of $10,000 on ACHIEVA's Day of Giving, October 23, 2018. The gift will be provided in honor of his late wife Patricia and son Ronnie. Supporters of ACHIEVA did not disappoint! The campaign reached 90% of it's $10,000 goal.
All donations will support the Blanco Family Fund for Advocacy and Family Supports, established by ACHIEVA’s Board in honor of Marsha Blanco, ACHIEVA’s recently retired President and CEO of nearly 39 years. This fund will enable ACHIEVA to generate resources over time to help support the organization’s advocacy and family supports, and help countless people well into the future.
The Skiffen family values the role of ACHIEVA in their lives. Melissa Skiffen shared, "Someone had told us that the number one thing we could do to make sure he (Keifer) had all of his needs met was to contact an advocate at ACHIEVA. To say we were impacted by the services ACHIEVA provides is an understatement. I honestly don't believe that Keifer would be where he is if he hadn't had the services that were provided through this agency."
Thanks to kind and generous donors, ACHIEVA can continue to impact families through their no-cost advocacy and family supports services.
